An analysis of the benefits of forestherbage intercropping systems in semi-arid Taihang Mountain Areas

  • 摘要:本文通过在太行山低山丘陵区治理干旱山地的试验研究,阐述了林草复合栽培对环境资源的利用、培肥土壤与改良低产农田的作用及其生态效益和经济效益,为在该区大力开展人工种植牧草提供了可靠的依据。

    Abstract:Based on several years’experiments in the hilly districts in Mt.Taihang,the ecological and economic benefits of forest-herbage interplanting systems were studied.The results indicated that herbage played an important role on improvement of soil fertility and the productivity of the fruit trees in the intercropping system.The results provide the base for extending artificial herbage planting to this mountainous districts.
