Abstract: In this paper，the main characters of agrometeorological disaster are summarily discussed，including the affected regions and its distribution，frequency and the situation of the disaster，etc．Then its mechanism is analyzed from the natural and economic viewpoints．Finally，some countermeasures are discussed too，including the change of the traditional management system ，adoption of new technology，and strengthening insurance of agrometeorological disaster，etc．
