Abstract: In this paper，the eco-agricuhure and modern agriculture are discussed and the concept of eco-agriculture is widened，indicating that the eco-agriculture is the modern agriculture of ecologism ，and the important roles played by it in the new agricultural economic development，including the breeding and development of macre-economic-zone，regional development of dominant agricultural prod ucts，and resolution of problems of agriculture，countryside and farmers．
