Abstract:
n this research, we applied the newest emission scenarios of the sulfur and greenhouse gases, i.e. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Special Report on Emission Scenarios (SRES) A2 and B2 scenarios, combined with the RCM (Regional Climate Model) model and CERES-Wheat model to investigate the change of wheat yield in 2080s. The results show that under the two emission scenarios, in 2080s, the yield of rainfed wheat decreases dramatically; irrigation can offset the decrease, but can not stop it; the yield increases for both irrigated wheat and rainfed wheat if the direct effect of CO
2 is considered in the simulation.
