Signal effects of ABA and phospholipase on the osmotica accumulated in roots of maize seedling under water stress

The study on the signal effects of ABA，neomycin sulfate(PLD／PLC inhibitor)，ancymidol(ABA inhibitor)on the osmotica accumulated in roots of maize seedling under water stress shows that ABA can promote the accumulation of proline，soluble sugars and Ca²⁺ ，but can not promote the accumulation of free amino acid and K⁺ ，and the PLD／PLC maybe promote the accumulation of proline，soluble sugars and free amino acid，but can not promote the accumulation of K⁺ and Ca²⁺ ．
