Analysis on ecological footprint of Shaanxi Province in 2002

Ecological footprint analysis is a new method for measuring ecological sustainable development.The method is used to calculate the ecological footprint of Shaanxi Province in 2002.The results show that ecological deficit is 0.166hm² per capita indicating that Shaanxi Province is in an unsustainable development status.The result has an instructional function to the environmental protection,economic development and social progress.
